Legal Research Journal Entry # 1
I got sidetracked after midterms. Or to be exact, I lost interest in the stuff I was uploading.
It happens. The plan was to document the whole semester in something close to real time, but then midterms hit and whatever momentum I had just kind of dissolved. I kept telling myself I would get back to it. I did not get back to it.
Instead, I am going to upload the journal entries for the term paper we are doing for Legal Research and Legal Writing. The paper is about space debris and whether the Philippines has any legal framework to compensate victims when a rocket falls on something. The short answer is no. The long answer is the paper.
The working title is "Already the Dumping Ground: Space Debris, Sovereign Harm, and the Philippine Legal Vacuum," which is either the best thing I have ever titled or a sign that I spent too much time on the title and not enough on the actual writing. Both can be true.
Anyway. Journal entries below. These are handwritten because the professor requires it, and also because I find it easier to think when I am not staring at a cursor.

My actual proposal:

More to come as the paper moves forward. Or as I remember to post.
